Town Board to Vote on Employee Health Benefits

The Southeast Town Board is slated to cover a host of topics during a work session and a regular meeting this evening.

A presentation and a proclamation are slated to precede the work session, during which time elected leaders will focus on three items. After that, the Board will move to regular business.

That part of the agenda lists an appointment for one of the Town's advisory boards, as well as a zoning amendment. The fifth and final item deals with changes to employee health benefits, and the handbook updates that would follow. The issue is broken down into eight parts, from establishing a health benefit buyout amount to adjusting certain retirement benefits.
