Town of Southeast Seeks Proposals for Peach Lake Sewer Districts

The Peach Lake Sewer Districts serve more than 400 homes in Southeast and North Salem, under an intermunicipal agreement dating back to 2007, when a sewer and wastewater treatment plant was built in Southeast.

Now the two towns have put out a request for proposals for operation and maintenance of the districts. Officials are looking for a 3-year contract, from April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2018.

The RFP was advertised in the Putnam County Press/Times.

Proposals must be received by the Southeast Town Clerk by 11AM Jan. 28.
