Southeast Town Meeting Cancelled: Meetings Update

UPDATE — The Town of Southeast Town Board Meeting scheduled for Thursday, June 8, 2023 has been cancelled.

BREWSTER, NY — Dwight D. Eisenhower famously said, "Politics ought to be the part-time profession of every citizen who would protect the rights and privileges of free people."

There are plenty of upcoming chances to help tend to our democracy close to the roots. Several public meetings are scheduled for this week that affect Brewster and Southeast.

Tuesday

• Putnam County Legislature, 7 p.m., Historic Courthouse
• Brewster Board of Education, 6:30 p.m., Brewster High School

Wednesday

• Brewster Village Board of Trustees, 7:30 p.m., Village Hall

Thursday

• Southeast Town Board, 7 p.m., Town Hall. CANCELLED
