Ulster Man Dealt Cocaine, Prescription Drugs In Putnam: Sheriff
A sheriff's investigator arranged to purchase both cocaine and prescription drugs from the 32-year-old in a sting.

PUTNAM COUNTY, NY — A Highland man has been arrested on felony narcotics possession and sale charges, Putnam County Sheriff Kevin J. McConville reports.
In 2023, an investigator assigned to the Sheriff's Office Narcotics Enforcement Unit found evidence that the the Ulster County man was involved in the sale of cocaine and prescription medication in Putnam County.
The investigator made contact with the suspect, Kevin J. Lamastro, and arranged for the purchase of both cocaine and prescription medication from the 32-year-old.

On July 16, a Town of Southeast Court judge issued an arrest warrant for Lamastro.
On September 21, Lamastro was arrested on the outstanding arrest warrant. He was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, and felony criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Lamastro was arraigned in Town of Patterson Court and was released on his own recognizance pending a future court date in the Town of Southeast Court.
