Margaret Lynch, 89, passed away on December 10, 2018, daughter of the late Peter and Margaret Lynch. She was predeceased by her brother Edward.

A longtime resident of Brewster, NY, she was a lifetime member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas- Court Bernadine #185. She also held membership in the Past Regents Chapter of Catholic Daughters. The local court named her volunteer of the year in 2004 and again in 2013.

Her hobbies included collecting and mailing cancelled postage stamps to the veterans. She did this project for over 20 years. She enjoyed knitting for Court Bernadine #185 and many other groups.

She was blessed by having so many good neighbors and friends during her lifetime. She is survived by many cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday December 13, 2018 at 11am at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Somers, NY. A wake will be held at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, from 9:30am-10:30am on Thursday.
