Richard J. Bailey, Sr., 87, a resident of Dover Plains, NY died on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at home.

Mr. Bailey was a tree surgeon at Coffin Tree Service in Tarrytown, NY. Born on February 18, 1931 in Danbury, CT, he was the son of the late Myron A. and Blanche (Bennedictt) Bailey.

On January 16, 1953 in Patterson, NY he married Cynthia L. Ashby Bailey who predeceased him on June 27, 2010.

Mr. Bailey was a member of the Brewster Fire Department. Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY.
