Susan Wolff, 57, of Brewster NY, died March 28, 2015 at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx, NY.

Sue was born on April 10, 1957 in Parkchester, NY to Marie (Colombo) Chadnick of Brewster, NY and the late John J. Chadnick. She graduated from Brewster High School in 1975 and attended Western Connecticut State University.

On October 12, 1980 she married the love of her life, Richard A. Wolff at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church in Brewster where they made their home. Mr. Wolff died on January 22, 2005.

Sue was a Family Advocate for Putnam Family and Community Services in Carmel, NY for many years as well as an aide at Henry H. Wells Middle School in Brewster. Sue’s position as a family advocate didn’t stop at just her vocation. She believed that everyone needed advocacy and Sue took great steps in being there for others, especially women.

Sue was a very devoted mother, grandmother and friend to so many. She had a particular loving way about her and her two granddaughters brought her such great joy.

Besides her mother Marie, Sue is survived by her boyfriend Roy Garamone of Putnam Lake, NY, 3 sons, John H. Wolff and his husband Mark Medovitch of NY, NY, Steven Wolff of Brewster, NY, and Kevin Wolff and his fiancée Lisa Forschner of Brewster, NY; a daughter, Stacy Rose Wolff of Brewster, NY. Also two granddaughters, Alivia Rose and Ava Grace.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, April 1, 2015 10:00AM at Sacred Heart Church in Putnam Lake (Patterson), NY. Interment following at St. Lawrence O’Toole Cemetery, Brewster. Friends may call at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave. Brewster on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.www.beecherfuneralhome.com
