Brewster Water Turned Back On: Update
Brewster residents were without water service for several hours due to work on the Carmel Avenue Bridge.
UPDATE: Water in Brewster was turned back on at about 1 p.m. There will be some discoloration and the public should treat their water usage as if this was a hydrant flushing, officials said.
BREWSTER, NY — Due to the construction on the Carmel Avenue Bridge by the Department of Transportation, water services have been disconnected for the next several hours.
The Mayor, The Department of Public Works Supervisor and the Village Offices ask that you please be patient as we work to get the water back on in a timely manner. We apologize for the inconvenience and the lack of notice.
