The Nor'Easter dumped rain and sleet across the Hudson Valley. Many school districts have delayed opening and canceled some activities.

Below will be a list of school closings/delays for Tuesday provided by WHUD and other sources; we will add as news comes in.

Brewster schools are closed

Carmel schools are closed

Garrison schools are closed

Green Chimneys school is delayed 2 hours for day students on Brewster and Clearpool campuses

Haldane schools are closed

John F. Kennedy Catholic High School is closed; all testing is moved to Friday

Lakeland schools have a 2-hour delay

Mahopac schools are closed

Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES is closed

Putnam Valley schools are closed

Also, the Mahopac Public Library will open at 1 p.m.
