Weekend Weather Forecast Includes Plenty of Sun in Southeast

It’s not perfect, but we’re looking at a pretty nice weather weekend.
We’ll deal with some gray skies today and a slight chance of showers. The high temperature will be around 60 degrees.
While this will be far from a heat wave, it will be noticeably warmer across the region throughout the weekend and into the early part of the new week, said AccuWeather.com Chief Meteorologist Elliot Abrams.

Saturday is the best day of the weekend. The forecast calls for partly sunny skies, temps near 70 with a light wind. It will be a bit chilly Saturday night with temps back into the mid 40s.
On Sunday there is a very slight rain chance after 12 p.m. but also plenty of sunshine is also predicted. The good news is the temps will be in the 70s.

Ironically, the best day of the year weather-wise may be on Monday, when it’s forecast to be sunny and temperatures may hit the mid 70s.

Today-A slight chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 63. East wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Tonight-Mostly cloudy, with a low around 39. Southeast wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Saturday-A slight chance of showers after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 70. Calm wind becoming west around 6 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Saturday Night-Partly cloudy, with a low around 42. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Sunday-A slight chance of showers after noon. Sunny, with a high near 74. Calm wind becoming west 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Sunday Night-Partly cloudy, with a low around 46.
Monday-Sunny, with a high near 76.
