Westchester Man Arrested In Putnam With 5 Pounds Of Pot
The man told the deputies he had run out of gas.

PUTNAM VALLEY, NY — A Westchester man was arrested on drug charges after running out of gas in Putnam Valley. Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley Jr. said Thomas V. Disieno, 36, of Yorktown, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both felonies, and several vehicle and traffic law violations.
Around 12:28 a.m. May 20, a deputy sheriff observed a vehicle stopped diagonally across Peekskill Hollow Road with its hazard lights on.
Disieno said he had run out of gas, the deputy said.

The smell of marijuana was coming from the car, authorities said.
The sheriff’s office said five vacuum-sealed bags, containing more than 5 pounds of marijuana, along with 35 packages of alleged concentrated cannabis oil for used in vaping devices were found in the car.
