When Will the Snow End?

Behind the storm is arctic air, so conditions will be icy for the evening commute around Southeast.

The second storm of the first week of March 2015 should be over this afternoon, as the snow stops and temperatures plummet.

Today’s high temps were achieved about 4 a.m. and will continue to drop throughout the day, leading to icy travel as water from yesterday’s melting and earlier rainfall begins to refreeze, Hudson Valley Weather warned.

According to weather.com, snow showers will be mostly over by 1 p.m.
