Woman Found With Ecstasy, Pot in Southeast: New York State Police

The woman was arrested on felony drug charges.

SOUTHEAST, NY — A Danbury woman was arrested on felony drug charges Saturday after police found several illegal drugs during a traffic stop on State Road 6, according to the New York State Police.

Troopers stopped Taniqua Scott, 27, for failing to maintain her designated lane of travel, according to state police. Scott was later found to be unlawfully possessing MDMA (ecstasy) Tylenol with Codeine and marijuana.

Scott was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and unlawful possession of marijuana.

She was remanded to Putnam County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond.
