Work To Close Lane On Route 9 In Putnam County

PUTNAM COUNTY, NY — One lane is expected to close along US Highway 9 northbound and southbound in Philipstown, beginning Tuesday.

Bridge maintenance between East Mountain Road North and Old Albany Post Road North will extend through July 29, weather permitting.

Slow down and drive responsibly in work zones.

Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
