Work Coming On Interstate 684 In Southeast

SOUTHEAST, NY — Expect brief traffic stoppages in January in both directions of Interstate 684 between Exit 9 in Southeast and Exit 8 in North Salem.

In a blast zone from Hardscrabble Road to the exit for Interstate 84, the stoppages could last from two to five minutes on weekdays between 11:30 a.m. and noon beginning Wednesday through Jan. 28, New York State Department of Transportation officials said.

Slow down and drive responsibly. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.

Convictions for two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
