Work Will Close Ramp from I-84 to 684 South Overnight Saturday

The westbound Interstate 84 Exit 20 ramp to Interstate 684 south is expected to close beginning Saturday, Oct 3 at 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday, Oct 4, while crews perform construction activities, weather permitting.

Motorists on westbound Interstate 84 wanting to travel south on Interstate 684 are advised to follow the marked detour, which will direct traffic from Exit 20 to go north on Interstate 684/Route 22, then to take Exit 10 (Route 6/202), turn right on to Route 6/202 West, and then turn right to enter Interstate 684 South.

Drivers may experience delays.

Use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers.

Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
