21-Year-Old Sunset Park Woman Shot Dead In East New York: Cops

Sabrina Moreno was found shot dead on Van Siclen Avenue Friday evening, police said.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK -- A Sunset Park woman was fatally shot in the neck in East New York Friday afternoon, police said.

Sabrina Moreno, 21, was shot on Van Siclen Avenue between Pitkin and Belmont avenues at about 6:55 p.m., said police.

Emergency responders rushed the unconscious woman to Brookdale Hospital but doctors were unable to save her life, police said.

Police sources told the Daily Newsthat a former boyfriend is being considered as a suspect.

Police did not make an immediate arrest and the investigation remains ongoing.
