BROOKLYN, NY — A man has been charged after he slashed a teenager inside a Brooklyn synagogue.
The incident happened Monday around 7:30 p.m. at a synagogue on 54th Street in Borough Park.
Officers responded to the scene after they got a call of a report of an emotionally disturbed person.
The 16-year-old was slashed in the hand with a "cutting instrument," police said.
The suspect was charged with assault, reckless endangerment, and criminal possession of a weapon.
