Garcia was on his way to work as a bagel delivery man at Bagels By the Park in Carroll Gardens, the Daily News reported. The business started to think something was wrong when he didn't show up for work. His brother, who also worked at the store, would later leave the bagel shop when he heard Garcia was in the hospital.
