FDNY Fire Marshal Arrested In Sunset Park Road Rage Incident
An off-dury fire marshal smashed in another driver's car window after the two got into a dispute on Third Avenue, police said.
SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — An off-duty fire marshal was arrested Thursday after he smashed in the window of another driver's car in Sunset Park, police said.
Timothy Gorman, a 52-year-old FDNY fire marshal, was driving southbound on Third Avenue when he and another driver got into a dispute about trying to pass one another on the road. Gorman got out of his car and smashed in the front passenger window of the other driver's Dodge Suburban, police said.
He was arrested just before 10:30 a.m. and charged with criminal mischief.

A police spokesman did not immediately know the cross street where the incident took place.
