Sunset Park Fire On 57th Street Injures Four, FDNY Says

Firefighters battled a fire that broke out in a four-story house on 57th Street Tuesday morning.

SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — A fire that broke out in the top floors of a house on 57th Street Tuesday morning left four people injured, FDNY officials said.

FDNY was called to the 814 57th St. building around 9:53 a.m. and found that a fire had broken out in the fourth floor, an FDNY spokesman said. The fire was under control by 10:33 a.m.

Four people were injured in the fire and were being taken to local hospitals around 11 a.m. All four people's injuries were not life threatening, the spokesman said.
