Man Gropes Teen In Sunset Park Church, Police Say

SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — A 13-year-old boy was molested in a Sunset Park church by a man who had been following him, according to police.

Police released photos Friday of the man they believe followed his victim into a church on Fifth Avenue near 47th Street at about 7:45 p.m. on Aug. 10.

The suspect — whom police describe as a man in his 50s, standing about 5-foot 8-inches and weighing about 140 pounds — touched the 13-year-old over his clothing, then left, police said.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue shirt, black shoes and glasses, said police.
