School Bus Driver Killed In Brooklyn Crash, Cops Say

Kam Po Lau died after the school bus he was driving slammed into an unoccupied parked car Thursday morning, police said.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK -- A school bus driver was killed after he suffered a medical episode and crashed into a parked car, police said.

Kam Po Lau, 63, was driving a 2006 Ford school bus through Dyker Heights at about 7:30 a.m. Thursday when he suddenly slammed into a parked 2011 Honda Accord at 12th Avenue and 71st Street, said police.

Emergency responders rushed Lau to Maimonides Medical Center where he later died, police said.
