Sunset Park Sisters Vanish Near Borough Park Public School, Police Say
Jamilet and Esmirailda Ramirez, 11 and 13, were last seen walking toward P.S. 164 in Borough Park on Friday, according to police.

SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — Police are still looking for two sisters who disappeared in Borough Park on Friday.
Jamilet and Esmirailda Ramirez, 11 and 13, were last seen by their mother heading into P.S. 164 Caesar Rodney at 4211 14th Ave. on Friday around 8:45 a.m., police said.
But their mother discovered the two little girls never arrived on campus when she came to pick them up after school, said police.

The sisters have never run away from their Sunset Park home and had not recently fought with their mother, she told police.
Police describe the 11-year-old girl as standing four-foot-eight, weighing about 90 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt, pink pants and white sneakers.

Police describe the 13-year-old girl as standing five-feet tall with black hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing a pink sweatshirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.
P.S. 164 is located about two miles away from where two people tried to kidnap a 15-year-old girl in broad daylight two weeks earlier.
The New York City Department of Education declined to comment for the story.
