Teenagers Punch 14-year-old, Steal iPhone Near Sunset Park: Cops

The two boys punched the 14-year-old and thew him to the ground before taking his cell phone, police said.

SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN -- Police are asking for help identifying two teenagers who they say punched a 14-year-old on the street last month before stealing his phone.

Just before 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 25, the two boys were walking down the street near 40th Street and 5th Avenue when they approached the 14-year-old victim. The teens punched the boy and threw him to the ground before taking his iPhone 7.

The boys fled the scene and the 14-year-old victim refused medical attention after the assault, police said.

The two boys are described as male, hispanic and between 14 to 16 years old.
