WATCH: Gun Jams During Sunset Park Fight

SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — A suspect in a Sunset Park fight tried to shoot his weapon during the dispute, but his gun jammed before he could fire off a round, surveillance footage from the NYPD shows.

The would-be gunman is believed to be in his 20s, police said. He and his friends walked into a store near Eighth Avenue and 58th Street, where the situation escalated, according to police.

Another man in the dispute struck someone with "a sharp object" and caused a laceration, police said. Authorities are searching for both attackers.

The man holding the gun is described as an Asian male in his 20's with black hair who was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark jacket, white t-shirt, dark pants and dark shoes.

The man with the sharp object is described as an Asian male in his 20's, approximately 5-foot-10, with black hair who was last seen wearing a blue hooded jacket with tan pants and sneakers.
