16 Handles Yogurt Of Jericho Loses $2,700 In Break-In: Police
The man stole cash from the register and a safe, police say.

JERICHO, NY — A Jericho frozen yogurt shop was broken into around 4:15 a.m. Thursday, Nassau police said.
A female employee arriving to work at 16 Handles Yogurt, at 22 Jericho Turnpike, around 10:45 a.m. Thursday saw the shop's back door had been damaged and was unlocked, police said. The employee saw the business was rummaged through and the contents of the cash register drawers were missing, police said.
A man wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and a mask entered the store and stole money from the register, police said. He carried a small safe through the back door and headed east toward Jericho Turnpike on foot, police said.

The damage and items stolen cost the business approximately $2,700, police said. Police are investigating.
