2-Hour Delayed Opening for Syosset Schools Monday
The district announces the decision after a blizzard strikes the region.

Syosset Public Schools will open on a 2-hour delay on Monday following a blizzard that dumped more than two feet of snow across Long Island, district officials have announced.
Here’s the message on the district’s website:
All students will be picked up at their regular stops 2 hours later than their regularly scheduled times. All early morning programs including extra help are cancelled. Please encourage the use of buses in order to reduce traffic congestion and permit a smoother transportation of students. For the Transportations Department, you may call 364-5840.
