3 Charged With Shoplifting From Woodbury AT&T Store

The defendants are being charged with 4th Degree Grand Larceny.

Three men that stole I-Pads and other electronics totalling $3,000 from an in Woodbury Monday were later arrested at a Syosset location, according to police.

Almaliek Keller, 32, of Hempstead, Jonathon Dixon, 27, of Wyandach, and Michael Hayden, 21, of Bay Shore, were arrested and charged with 4th degree grand larceny.

According to detectives, at around 10:19 a.m. Monday the three men entered the store, located at 7975 Jericho Turnpike, Woodbury, cut the security wires on a Samsumg Tablet and two Apple I-Pads, and then ran out with the items.

On Monday at 1:53 P.M., Second Precinct Police Officers observed the defendants walking toward the AT&T store on Jericho Turnpike and South Oyster Bay Road in Syosset. The defendants were placed under arrest a short time later at the scene, and the computers were not recovered.

Keller, Dixon and Hayden will be arraigned on Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
