Annual Flower Planting at Memorial Park Garden

RESIDENTS for a more beautiful Syosset held its annual planting of flowers at the Memorial Park Garden at the corner of Underhill Boulevard and Jackson Avenue on Saturday, May 13, 2012, in preparation for the Memorial Day ceremonies that take place there.

Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs and her granddaughter joined RESIDENTS for a more beautiful Syosset Board Members and other volunteers as they spent a sunny, spring morning planting impatiens, begonias and marigolds in the garden.

RESIDENTS would like to thank DeBendettis Nursery & Florist and Meyer's Farm for their generous donations of the flats of annuals that were planted. Their generosity and support every year are greatly appreciated. They help RESIDENTS to make Syosset al little more beautiful!
