JOSHUA LAFAZAN IS FIGHTING BACK FOR SYOSSET TAXPAYERS
- The School Board is designed to OVERSEE the activities and policies of the Superintendent and Administration not blindly follow them.
- I challenge every citizen of Syosset to say, “NO MORE” to this type of back room dealing that hurts every Syosset citizen who thinks they are getting democratic representation on the Syosset School Board.
- It is time to open the school board system to include the citizens who are PAYING for it.
- I recommend implementing the open and transparent school district government run by the Jericho School Board, where parents and citizens are included in the decision making process and are part of district budget workshops.
- I DO NOT ENDORSE, AND WILL NOT SUPPORT FIRING TEACHERS.
- My community outreach program, SAFE RIDE SYOSSET, DOES NOT promote teen drinking. In fact, both MADD and Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen Rice’s program, Choices & Consequences, promote the same ideals, namely preventing anyone from getting in the car with a driver who has been drinking
