The event will bring together patients from three Long Island cancer facilities, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Commack and Memorial Sloan Kettering Skin Cancer Center Hauppauge in addition to RVC's facility. Survivors from all three facilities will get to mingle with one another and celebrate the success of their treatment while encouraging others who battle the disease.
Dr. Richard Barakat will give the keynote speech. Dr. Barakat is the Deputy Physician-in-Chief for Memorial Sloan Kettering Regional Care Network and Alliances and Chief of the Gynecology Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
