Children’s Medical Fund of New York Announces Fall Festival To Support Cohen Children’s Medical Center

The Oct 24 festival in Syosset features trunk-or-treating, a costume parade, and more, with all proceeds funding pediatric mental healthcare

Children's Medical Fund of New York (CMFNY) will host its reimagined autumn celebration, "A Ghoul's Day Out!: Fall Festival" On Saturday, Oct. 24, from noon to 3:00 p.m.

Hosted on the outdoor grounds of the Blumenfeld Development Group (BDG) at 300 Robbins Ln in Syosset, NY, 100% of festival proceeds will directly fund pediatric mental health programs and clinical care at Cohen Children’s Medical Center.

Families are encouraged to arrive dressed in Halloween costumes to enjoy an afternoon packed with fall festivities. Featured attractions include:

  • A community Trunk-or-Treat and children’s costume parade
  • Pony rides and an interactive petting zoo
  • Inflatable bounce house and giant slide
  • Carnival games with prizes, arts and crafts, and face painting
  • A mini pumpkin patch with DIY decorating stations
  • Complimentary popcorn and cotton candy
  • Curated local food trucks and artisan boutique vendors (food and retail available for purchase)

Admission includes access to all games, rides, trunk-or-treating, entertainment, and a mini pumpkin for every child.

  • Children: $10 (includes all rides, games, and a pumpkin)
  • Adults: $5
  • Family Pass: $25 (covers immediate family)
  • Northwell & CCMC Community: Complimentary admission passes are available for all Northwell Health and Cohen Children’s Medical Center team members, patients, and their immediate families using an organizational promo code at checkout.

"Pediatric mental health support is one of the most critical and urgent needs facing children and families today, and we wanted to build an uplifting afternoon where our community could come together to make a tangible difference," said Sarah Blumenfeld, event co-chair. "Every ticket reserved, costume worn, and pumpkin decorated directly helps provide life-saving care at Cohen Children’s Medical Center."
