Laura Rittenberg, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Long Island and Queens, is pleased to announce the company’s table sponsorship of Pet Adoptathon weekend. As part of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s charitable efforts, volunteers from the real estate company’s East Hills, Great Neck, Manhasset, and Syosset offices met pet adopters at the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage booth, offered pet related activities and giveaways showing attendees the importance of pet adoption. North Shore Animal League America’s 21st anniversary pet adoption event had more than 700 dogs and cats available for adoption, along with plenty of food, contests, and activities. A total of nearly 500 pets went home as part of the campaign which launches month-long regional and national Pet Adoptathons.

According to its website, North Shore Animal League America is the world’s largest no-kill rescue and adoption organization with hundreds of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens available for adoption every week.

“I’ve approached numerous people today and every single person I’ve talked to was pleased and happy to tell me their story,” said Rittenberg, who attended the event. “It’s exciting that we can be a part of this and I hope we can find other ways to help to promote events like this in the future. What we are doing here truly makes a difference in the lives of the animals and their human friends.”
