If we clean all the gunk out of our bodies, we will lose weight, have more energy, and even look younger. Simple, right? Not at all. clean_jungerDr. Alejandro Junger developed his Clean Program after his own health crisis led him to many years of medical and scientific study on how each part of the body functions, and how it is prevented from functioning when we allow toxins to infiltrate. When our organs, hormones and enzymes are functioning properly, our body can heal itself. Junger's book, Clean, a New York Times bestseller, fully explains the program as well as the journey he took to develop it. Junger details many case studies, including his own, that demonstrate how a Clean body is a healthy body. dr-junger Alejandro Junger, M.D. Personally, I want to feel good and enjoy what's left of my life. I want the "glowing skin and svelte figure" noted by someone who completed the program. About me: I have been on a diet for about 50 of my 56 years. I take anti-depressant and anxiety medication. I wake up tired after a night's sleep. And I am having more and more trouble with my concentration and memory. I thought it was early onset old age. And it is. But it is me that brought it on with the way I eat, work and live. It is my lifestyle that is causing my problems, not my problems creating my lifestyle. Mine are only a few of the symptoms Junger lists in his "Clean Audit," a list that includes skin problems, digestion issues, allergies and apathy as some of the problems that can be eliminated by becoming Clean. After reading Clean, I completely believe that I can heal myself and eliminate most, if not all, of my physical and emotional symptoms. I would rather not do it alone. I am hoping that through this blog, I can bring together a committed group of those who want to get Clean and want to support and be supported by others in the process. We can all succeed in regaining our health by getting Clean.
