I’ve only known Uzma for a short time, but I've found a lifelong inspiration in her. She is kind, passionate, and is always ready to roll up her sleeves. Her love for her our hometown Syosset is contagious and evident in every aspect of her life.
Uzma’s schedule as an infectious disease physician is demanding, yet the mother of two is also a dedicated neighbor who makes time to help improve the lives of all Syosset residents.
Uzma is a woman of action and has chaired committees at her children’s schools, volunteered at community events, and she has actively opposed the development of Syosset Park. In spite of being a full time working mom of two, she made time to go to the recent meeting for Syosset Park and advocated the concerns citizens of Syosset have with the development of Syosset Park.

Those who know me well, know that I don’t endorse or recommend anyone unless I really believe in them, so when I say Uzma is the best candidate for Syosset School Board, I mean it with all my heart. I have no doubt in my mind that Uzma is the change Syosset needs. She will work hard to make our district more efficient in areas of academics, safety, budgeting and more.
Dr. Uzma Syed is all in for Syosset, and I’m proud to say I’m all in for Dr. Uzma Syed.
