Mini Golf Cart Collides With Car; 2 Victims In Hospital: Police

It happened Sunday early evening on Syosset-Woodbury Road.

WOODBURY, NY — A serious accident in Woodbury on Sunday sent two victims to the hospital.

A 47-year-old woman was driving a 2021 grey Lincoln Corsair east on Syosset-Woodbury Road at 6 p.m. when she was in a collision with a Utility Vehicle. The mini gas-powered gold cart with two male juveniles was traveling south on Turret Lane.

As a result of the collision, the boys were transported to area hospitals. One victim is listed in serious condition and the other victim is in stable condition, police said.

The driver of the Lincoln remained at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

Police are investigsting.
