'Hats Off' to Pride Day at Syosset's South Grove Elementary

South Grove Elementary School students observed Hat Day on Sept. 19, donning caps that ranged from favorite sports teams to homemade bonnets.

Hat Day was part of South Grove’s weekly Pride Day, which is held every Friday and centers around specific themes. Students were encouraged to come to school with their favorite or most spirited hat in their possession. The photograph speaks for the results.
