Legislator Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) recently sponsored a community meeting at Jericho Public Library to help residents understand how to file a Grievance Application with the Assessment Review Commission (ARC). Helen McQueen, a representative from the ARC, explained the application process and answered questions pertaining to individuals' properties. There is another meeting scheduled on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014 at the Plainview Public Library from 7 - 9 p.m. Applications will be provided at the workshop.
