The 2013 edition of the Long Island Fight for Charity culminated last night with the presentation of the checks to the fantastic charity recipients!
The LIFFC designated charities include The Genesis School, Long Island Community Chest and National Foundation for Human Potential.
Hallmark Abstract Service President Michael Haltman, who participated in this years event as a boxer and fundraiser (see tape of his fight here), raised in excess of $17,000 and was therefore able to dedicate a portion of those proceeds to the charity of his choice.

The charity he chose is the Pat Covelli Foundation that received a check for $3,246. The Pat Covelli Foundation ‘has helped many deserving individuals and families meet their basic day-to-day and emergency needs during their battles with extreme personal hardship.’
No one from the Foundation was available to attend the presentation ceremony last night so Michael accepted the check on their behalf.
