Man Arrested On Drug Possession Charges In Nassau: Police
He had what officials believe is fentanyl and was driving a car with an expired Pennsylvania registration, police say.

SYOSSET, NY — A man was arrested in Syosset after Nassau police said he had kilograms of drugs in his possession.
Juan Carlos Cruz, 50, of the Bronx, was driving a 2003 Honda sedan with an expired Pennsylvania registration westbound near Jericho Turnpike in Syosset around 7 p.m. Wednesday, police said. Police recovered three kilograms of what officials believe is fentanyl, police said.
He was charged with first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, and a VTL violation for an unregistered motor vehicle.

His arraignment was scheduled for this past Thursday in First District Court, at 99 Main St., Hempstead.
