WOODBURY, NY — Woodbury is getting a little sweeter with Milkshake Factory coming to town.
The Pittsburgh-based franchise is setting up shop on Jericho Turnpike in the Woodbury Common Shopping Center, marking the first Long Island and New York location.
Milkshake Factory states on their website that their family has been making European chocolate recipes since 1914, all starting when their great-grandparents came ot the U.S. through Ellis Island. They opened a small chocolate shop and ice cream soda fountain in Pittsburgh before expanding across the coast.
