Nassau Police Report: Week of August 18

Nassau County Police released the crime report for the week of August 18 to August 22.

Check out the following incidents and arrests around the Syosset area over the past week as reported by police:

• August 16: A man reported that someone damaged the side window of his car with an object at Tepedino accounting firm on Hicksville Road in Bethpage.
• August 17: Carol L. Alesia, 60, of North Massapequa was arrested in Bethpage for shoplifting from a Shop Rite supermarket on Hempstead Turnpike.
• August 19: Aisha Nasir, 41, of Bethpage was arrested in East Garden City for shoplifting from JC Penney on Old Country Road.
• August 20: Jennifer Bua, 37, of Baldwin was arrested in Massapequa for shoplifting from Kohl's on Sunrise Highway.
• August 21: Walter J. Rissmeyer, 41, of Bethpage was arrested on a DWI charge on Lakeville Road in Lake Success.
