In our continued commitment to keep you informed of recent actions taken by the Board, please note that the Board fulfilled the contractual requirement to internally post the position of Superintendent. As per the legal terms of contract, this posting within district will remain in effect through July 26.
An RFP for search firms for the position of superintendent was processed today (following standard posting/advertising procedures) with a return deadline for proposals middle of August. At that time, all service proposals received will be reviewed by the Board. Subsequent interviews with the most competent search firms will be then scheduled towards the end of August.
The RFP for legal services has been completed and the Board will be conducting interviews with several law firms within the next 2 weeks. After the final interview, the Board will discuss the merits of each firm interviewed and reach a consensus as to which firm is most qualified to serve as our board/district counsel.
