Pedestrian In Critical Condition After He Was Struck By Car In Woodbury, Police Say

WOODBURY, NY — A pedestrian is in critical condition after he was struck by a car on Monday night in Woodbury, police said.

According to police, a 34-year-old man was struck by a 2005 Honda that was driven by a 23-year-old woman traveling east on Jericho Turnpike near Village Lane at 9:15 p.m.

The man suffered serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he is listed in critical condition, police said.
