Two sisters were among a handful of visitors who stopped at to take advantage of Monday's sunny but brisk weather.

While geese honked and huddled by the covered pool and occasionally explored puddles of water on the cover, a handful of parents strolled or tossed a baseball around with their children. Though the day started of with mild temperatures, by late afternoon, a distinct chill had moved in, so the park users were bundled against the cold. Except for the geese.
