Photo of the Day: Syosset-Woodbury Park Pool

Despite temperatures reaching upwards of 90 degrees a couple of weeks ago, the pool has been closed.

Town of Oyster Bay officials said the pools can't open until later on in the month for several reasons - the biggest being the lack of lifeguards, since kids were still in school.

But that changes this Saturday, June 25, as all TOBAY pools will open at noon! Go to the TOBAY Parks Department website for more information.

Hours of Operation

• June 25 - July 1, 2011 from Noon to 6pm

• July 2 - August 28 from 10:30am to 9pm

• August 29 - Sept. 4, 2011 from Noon to 8pm

• September 5, 2011 (Labor Day) 10:30am to 6pm
