Photo: Syosset Runner Wins 5K for Autism

Dan Tully raised awareness and donations as he crossed the finish line.

A Syosset grad and resident finished first in Caldwell College's third annual 5K Run/Walk for Autism in April. Dan Tully, 24 of Syosset, finished the course with a solid time of 17:36:58 ahead of more than 750 participants.

The annual run/walk is held each year to raise awareness and funds for Caldwell College's Center for Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis. Participants raised over $40,000 this year which will help enhance the college's effective intervention services and support for families.

The day began with a one-mile fun run/walk around the campus, followed but he 5K.
