PM Pediatrics to Extend Hours in September
The urgent-care practice, which has an office in Syosset, treats patients from newborn through young adults.

PM Pediatrics, a provider of urgent care in Syosset, will offer extended hours, beginning Sept. 9. The practice, which has offices in Babylon and Selden and elsewhere in the metropolitan region, treats patients from newborns through college.
Each practice will offer care Monday-Saturday, from noon-midnight, and Sundays and select holidays from 10 a.m.-12 a.m.
"In response to an increased demand for pediatric urgent care, we are pleased to provide additional convenient hours at all existing and future PM Pediatrics locations," Dr. Jeffrey Schor, founder of PM Pediatrics, said, in a statement.

"Our mission is to be there when families need us most, and our research has shown a void in quality affordable urgent care just for kids, during daytime hours," he added. "We will continue to partner with the primary care physician to ensure timely and seamless communication when treating their patients in urgent situations."
Every location is staffed by pediatric emergency specialists, including board-certified pediatricians and pediatric emergency physicians, who provide care and treatment for a broad array of illness and injuries including asthma, fever and other infections, dehydration, sprains and fractures, wounds requiring stitches and much more. Each office has on-site digital x-ray which produces high resolution images read by a board-certified radiologist, and sent easily to a patient’s primary care physician or orthopedist.
