Our Mission The Children's Orchestra Society, founded in 1962 by Dr. H.T. Ma, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to "teaching the language of music" to children and teens. Our mission is to cultivate and nurture children and teach them teamwork and life skills through music-learning and performing in orchestral and chamber music settings. Members of COS receive excellent training in classical music and opportunities to perform in concerts with their peers as well as with well-established musicians. A Child Centered Approach This is the core belief of Director Dr. Yeou-Cheng Ma and Music Director Michael Dadap, who have led the Children's Orchestra Society since 1984. SYOSSET, NY - Police are investigating a motorcycle crash in Syosset on Tuesday afternoon.  Nassau Police confirmed that a crash between a motorcycle and a car occurred at 4:05 p.m. The crash occurred in front of the Midway Jewish Center on South Oyster Bay Road and Parkway Drive.  Police could not confirm if there were any injuries. Nassau Police confirmed that a crash between a motorcycle and a car occurred at 4:05 p.m. The crash occurred in front of the Midway Jewish Center on South Oyster Bay Road and Parkway Drive.  Police could not confirm if there were any injuries. No further information was released.

Event will include a reading, discussion with optional Q &amp; A, and book signing.&nbsp;Erica Settino is a neuroqueer, late-diagnosed AuDHDer, author, artist, and activist whose work has been published in numerous print and online literary journals, anthologies, magazines, and blogs. She is the founder of the non-profit organization, Karuna For Animals, and the author of two forthcoming books, My Mommy Is a Witch, and Autistic Arcana: A Neurodivergent Approach to Tarot Magick.
